	Citizen Advisory Panels The City Council and Commissions often seek the help of Woodinville citizens to participate in a land use, transportation, capital project or park issue. Emergency Preparedness and Public Safety Commission The Emergency Preparedness and Public Safety Commission advises the City Council on emergency management policies and promotes community disaster preparedness through public education. 	Landmarks Commission In an agreement with King County, Woodinville may convene a Landmark & Heritage Commission meeting to review requests for landmark designation and preservation.		Parks and Recreation Commission The Parks and Recreation Commission advises the City Council on the City's comprehensive recreation, park development program, public art and special event programs. 	Planning Commission The Planning Commission reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on land use policies; primarily through the update of the City's Comprehensive Plan. Public Arts Advisory Committee The Public Arts Advisory Committee is an advisory board to the Parks & Recreation Commission and is tasked with supporting the City's Art Walk program, fundraising for art, Art Shows, and making recommendations to the commission on public art issues. 	Tree Board The Tree Board advises the City Council about tree care and preservation policies. It reviews the City's Urban Forestry Program which creates standards for the maintenance and management of Woodinville's urban forest to ensure preservation of the Woodinville's Northwest woodland character.
