Administrative Services
Administrative Services provides general administration and the functions of the treasury. The department oversees the City's records retention, business registration and accounting programs. The Information Systems division provides the computer support for the City. |

Development Services
The Development Services Department provides the services that achieve the community's vision by implementing the goals and policies of the City's Comprehensive Plan and through the long range planning and permitting functions that protect the public's life, health, safety and welfare as it relates to land use standards and standard construction practices. |

Executive
The Executive Department, headed by the City Manager, administers and manages
of the City according to the mission, policies and guidelines adopted by the
City Council. Human resources, City Clerk, and communications are functions
of the Executive Department. |

Parks and Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for meeting the public need
for parks, recreation and open space. Staff works with the Parks and Recreation
Commission for the future of parks and recreation. The staff carries out City
Council directives for the purchase, design, construction, maintenance, management
and programming of City facilities, including parks, trails, playgrounds, landscaped
areas, and habitat and resource areas. Volunteer programs are also handled
by this department. |

Police
Police protection for City of Woodinville residents and businesses is provided
through a contract with King County Sheriff's Office to provide the widest
possible range of police services, from routine patrol to highly specialized
police teams such as detectives, the K-9 unit, bomb disposal, and fraud and
forgery unit. The Police Department also handles code enforcement. Emergency
police response is coordinated through the 9-1-1 dispatch system. |

Public Works
The Public Works Department provides safe and reliable motorized and non-motorized facilities, protects and enhances the quality of waterways and habitats, and maintains the public infrastructure. Infrastructure includes roadways, sidewalks, street lighting, traffic signals and signs, storm water systems, and public construction improvement projects. The Department consists of three divisions: Engineering, Traffic Management, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M). |
