The City awards Human Service grants to agencies that provide critical human service assistance, such as food, shelter, and safety, to the Woodinville community.  


Grant awards are part of the City’s biennial budget.  Applications are reviewed and awarded by the City Council for a period of two years.

Congregations for the Homeless

Congregations for the Homeless (CFH) works to end homelessness on the Eastside.  As the only full-service shelter resource for single, adult men experiencing homelessness, CFH helps men to successfully make the transition from homelessness to permanent housing.


Harborview Medical Center - Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress

The Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress provides children, youth, families and adults affected by sexual assault, traumatic events and adversity with high quality, effective and culturally respectful care that is coordinated and multidisciplinary.

King County Sexual Assault Resource Center Comprehensive Sexual Assault Services

KCSARC provides sexual assault specific services for victims and families: 24-hour crisis intervention & referrals; legal advocacy through the criminal justice system; advocacy/case management; parent education for caregivers whose children have been sexually abused; trauma-specific therapy; training for service providers; prevention programming targeting high risk youth; and court monitoring to improve the justice system for victims. All services are provided in English and Spanish.

LifeWire provides domestic violence services to the community and works closely with local and regional human service agencies to provide life-saving and life-changing programs and services to help victims and their children separate safely from an abuser, restore trust, develop self-sufficiency and build peaceful families.

Northshore Senior Center - Northshore Adult Day Health Center

Safe and secure therapeutic environment for older and disabled adults. Services include: nursing,occupational therapy, recreation, transportation, fitness and computer education, and individualized case management.

 


Northshore Senior Center – Transportation Program

Northshore Senior Center Transportation (NSCT) provides safe, courteous, comfortable, and responsive service to residents in north King & south Snohomish Counties, filling gaps in the existing transportation network. The service provides essential and ADA accessible mobility that prevents isolation and promotes independence for individuals. The service enables access to health care appointments, civic and social activities, and to the NSC Adult Day Center.

Northshore Youth & Family Services / Subsidized Family Counseling Services

The program provides subsidized counseling services for low income families and youth including: individual and family mental health counseling; drug/alcohol assessments and treatment; parent skills groups; drug/alcohol awareness groups for youth and parents; Juvenile Intervention Program services; and youth crisis/suicide risk prevention and intervention services.

The Woodinville Storehouse Food Bank is operated by a coalition of churches and denominations serving the local community of Woodinville, Bothell, Kirkland, Kenmore and Redmond, by providing nourishment and ministry to those in need.
