The Tree Board is a volunteer advisory board tasked with developing and overseeing the City's Urban Forestry Program. This program develops standards for the maintenance and management of Woodinville's urban forest to ensure preservation of the Woodinville's Northwest woodland character. Activities include:

  • Updating and implementing the Community Urban Forestry Plan and regulations to protect and preserve the community's urban forest
  • Advising City staff and the City Council on planning, planting, inspecting, and maintenance of public trees
  • Providing technical advice to property owners and developers regarding tree planting, care and preservation
  • Hosting an annual Arbor Day Celebration
  • Sponsoring the Heritage Tree Program

The City of Woodinville is a " Tree City USA " as designated by the National Arbor Day Foundation.

The City of Woodinville is currently seeking volunteers to serve on the Tree Board. If you have an interest in serving on this Board, please complete the application, and return it to the City Clerk.

Regular Meeting Schedule

2nd Wednesday of January, April, July, and October (unless otherwise noticed)
City Hall, Calkins Room
4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Meetings that fall on holidays are rescheduled to the next working day or may be cancelled. 
Special meetings, such as a Board Retreat, may be held as determined by the Tree Board.

Meeting Cancellation Notices

Cancellation notices are issued up to 24 hours prior to the actual meeting date. Notices are posted at City Hall and, as a courtesy, on this web site.

Special Accommodations

Any person needing special assistance or any reasonable accommodation to attend the meeting is asked to contact the Development Services Department at 425.877.2271 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
