| Refuse
to be a Victim Safety Seminar - October
20, 2011
The Woodinville
Police Department hosts periodic free
seminars at Woodinville City Hall
covering crime prevention and personal
safety strategies. The workshop, “Refuse
to Be A Victim”, was developed by the women of the
National Rifle Association of America (NRA) in 1993, in response
to women nationwide who requested
crime prevention and personal safety information. The
program has evolved throughout the years and now
includes both women and men. The NRA continues to sponsor
the seminar in conjunction with many other
businesses promoting and teaching safety education. The seminar
addresses mental
preparedness, home & physical security, as well as travel by automobile.
Residents or business owners in the City of Woodinville are welcome to attend.
The
seminar is designed
for small groups, so space is limited to twenty (20) participants.
Pre-registration for
the next seminar is required by September 20, 2011.
To sign-up fill out the linked
form and email it to
