The City of Woodinville and Woodinville Fire & Rescue work cooperatively in several areas to encourage
and ensure fire prevention.
The City of Woodinville conducts annual business inspections to ensure fire code
compliance and the safety of the public. Sometimes fire code
violations are found during the inspection. When those violations
are not corrected, a
referral is made to the City's
Code Enforcement Officer.
In accordance with Woodinville Municipal Code Chapter 8, the
sale and discharge of fireworks is prohibited within Woodinville
city limits. Violations should be reported by calling 9-1-1.
Fire Code, requires a smoke detector to be installed in all
Air quality burn bans are issued and enforced by the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency when air pollution levels rise to unhealthy levels. Fire safety burn bans are issued and enforced by local fire departments, the County Fire Marshal and the State Department of Natural Resources.
