Household Battery Recycling

You can recycle household batteries for free by dropping them off at:
Woodinville City Hall
17301 133rd Avenue NE

Container is available for battery drop off during office hours only.
Mon – Thurs  7:30am - 5:00pm
Friday             7:30am - 4:00pm

WE DO NOT ACCEPT vehicle, marine, or UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) batteries.  For more information on where to safely dispose of these types of batteries, please visit the King County "What do I do with...?" website for processors.   http://your.kingcounty.gov/solidwaste/wdidw/index.asp

The types of batteries accepted include:

  • alkaline
  • nickel
  • cadmium
  • cell phone
  • button batteries

These batteries can contain mercury and other hazardous materials and should not go to the landfill.

Rechargeable Batteries Reduce Waste
Rechargeable batteries can be used multiple times and disposable batteries can only be used once.  Try using rechargeable batteries to reduce waste and save money.


CFL bulbLight Bulb Recycling

You can now recycle your used compact fluorescent lights (CFL)
 and incandescent bulbs at:
Woodinville City Hall
