Snow Removal ...
In the event of a snowstorm, the City
will use its
Snow
and Ice Removal Route Map as a guide for City snow removal
efforts.
Priority 1 routes, which cover
emergency service routes, are plowed first
during
snow events. Emergency
services include police, fire, and emergency
response services.
Priority 2 routes include arterial
roadways and routes to and from schools (when
they are in session).
Priority 3 routes include minor
arterials.
Priority 4 routes include residential
public streets.
The City's resources (number of plows and
staff) and the severity of the weather conditions
will affect the City's ability to clear the
streets.
