Expect Heavy Congestion on the Sammamish River Trail at Wilmot Gateway Park

Sammamish River Trail users should expect heavy congestion at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville during the Celebrate Woodinville Summer Concerts in the Park series. The Wednesday events occur on July 18, July 25, August 1, and August 8. All concerts run from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. During this time, cyclists will be asked to dismount and walk their bicycles through the Wilmot Gateway Park section of the Sammamish River Trail. The City expects the park to be heavily populated during the event and this action will help reduce potential accidents. Signs will be posted on the trail to alert users of the anticipated high volume of pedestrians using the park that day.

Celebrate Woodinville Summer Concerts in the Park are free community events where families, friends, and neighbors can gather to enjoy great music, wine, and food. Featured artists include:

• Carrie Clark and the Lonesome Lovers – Wednesday, July 18 – 7pm to 8:30pm
• The Highlife – Wednesday, July 25 – 7pm to 8:30pm
• The Emily Mcintosh Soul Band – Wednesday, August 1 – 7pm to 8:30pm
• Northern Departure – Wednesday, August 8 – 7pm to 8:30pm

Visit www.celebratewoodinville.com for more information about the event.
