NWMaps.net Receives Best In Class Award

An online web application offered by the City of Woodinville recently received the prestigious Interactive Media Awards 2012 Best in Class award from the Interactive Media Council, a nonprofit organization of leading web-related professionals. The award represents the best in planning, execution and overall professionalism in website design and development. NWMaps.net is an interactive mapping tool that provides property and community information, such as the location of active building permits, for rent/lease commercial property, local landmarks, public facilities, schools, environmental areas, parks, trails, zoning, and King County tax assessor information.

NWMaps.net was developed by the eCityGov Alliance, which represents Woodinville and 11 other King County cities (Bellevue, Bothell, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Renton, Sammamish, Shoreline, Snoqualmie, and Tukwila). The website combines the twelve participating cities data in a way that allows the user to quickly locate a variety of property related information through a single web site.
