City Seeking Your Opinion on the Potential Use of Video Surveillance Cameras for Public Safety
The City of Woodinville is requesting public input to understand how residents and businesses feel about the use of video surveillance cameras for public safety purposes. Make your opinion known by filling out a short survey, available on the City’s website (www.ci.woodinville.wa.us) or visit the survey directly at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3JRYGBZ.
The City of Woodinville is considering the use of video cameras on public streets and parks to improve public safety. The cameras would be used to help in crime investigation and would not be used to issue traffic citations. Specifics as to locations and the number of cameras that would be used have not been developed. The City will be requesting input through the end of March 2013, when the results of this survey will be presented to City Council.
