CELEBRATE THE ARTS SHOW & CITY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION at the Carol Edwards Center (CEC), March 29, 2008, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Free Event connected to the overall Celebrate Woodinville Event!

Gym

  • 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - View artwork from local amateur artists and place your vote for “People’s Choice” award.

    Evergreen Room

  • 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. - Browse through the work of local professional artists, John Shephard www.johnshepard.com, Bruce Edwards, Lisa Sheets, Russ Warrick, and Gary Greene. More professional artists to be added soon!


    Madrona Room Gym

  • 12:30-1:15 p.m. - Listen to the Hollywood Hills Elementary Marimba Band

  • 1:00 p.m. – Celebrate Woodinville’s birthday with City Council and enjoy a slice of birthday cake.

  • 2:00-2:45 p.m. – Book-It Repertory Theatre performs “The Stinky Cheese Man” & “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs”.

    C4 Room

  • 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Book-It Children’s Workshop. Limited space, pre-registration highly suggested.

    PANCAKE BREAKFAST, 8:00 to 10:00 a.m., Woodinville Fire & Life Safety District Headquarters, 17718 Woodinville-Snohomish Road. Suggestion donations: $4.00/Adult; $2.00/Child; 6 and under eat free! For more information, contact the District at 425-483-2131.

    ALL FOOLS DAY PARADE, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., along NE 175th Street.
    This years Theme is “Pearl of the Eastside: Island Woodinville” This event is sponsored by the Greater Woodinville Chamber of Commerce. Parade entry forms available at the Greater Woodinville Chamber of Commerce Office, 14221 NE 190th Street, Ste. 150, Woodinville, WA 98072 or by calling (425) 481-8300. See Road closure below.

    Road Closure
    NE 175th Street will be closed from 140th Ave NE to 131st Ave NE. 140th Ave NE will be closed from the NE 179th Street to NE 175th St. Road closures from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 12:30 p.m.

    BASSET BASH & BRIGADE, 1 to 4 pm, Carol Edwards Center Sports Fields. Interested Basset owners and lovers should contact the Woodinville Weekly, (425) 483-0606 or Gary & Patti Greene at (425) 788-2211.

    WOODINVILLE FARMERS MARKET ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Carol Edwards Center parking lot Interested vendors and crafters should contact the Woodinville Farmers Market, (425)485-1042 or visit Woodinville Farmers Market
