Geographic Information System (GIS) is a collection of computers, hardware, software and geographic data for capturing, managing, analyzing and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information (as defined by the
Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc.).
The City of Woodinville has a centralized Geographic Information System which provides geospatial solutions and technical support to internal departments and external customers. Products include development and maintenance of data sets, custom maps, aerial photos, information analysis and high-accuracy geospatial database information.
