Departments
There are a number of departments and divisions in City Hall that offer services to the community. In this section, you will find descriptions of these departments and pertinent information regarding their roles and responsibilities. Each department has a director or manager who ensures operations are smooth. Directors report to the City Manager, who oversees the day-to-day operations of the City.

Administrative Services
The Administrative Services Department ensures bills are paid and the City’s budget is balanced. The Department is also responsible for information services and technology, front desk duties, customer service, and business licensing among other responsibilities.

City Clerk
The City Clerk's Division supports the City Council, coordinates with City departments, and helps comply with public disclosure and open public meetings laws.

Community Relations
The Community Relations Division includes City-wide communications and public outreach efforts. The Executive team works to engage with the citizens, businesses, and general public of the City.

Development Services
The Development Services Department is the second largest department in the City and is responsible for planning and building oversight, as well as permitting in the City.

Executive
The Executive Department supports the operations of the entire city. The Woodinville team consists of six members: the City Manager, Assistant to the City Manager, Community Engagement Coordinator, Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator, City Clerk, and Deputy City Clerk.

Finance
Finance is a highly skilled, professional team dedicated to managing public funds with integrity, transparency, and diligence for the benefit of the public, guided by policy of the City Council, and at the direction of the City Manager.

Human Resources
Woodinville’s Human Resources staff recruits employees and creates an environment which attracts, retains, and develops capable staff to provide the highest quality City services.

Police
The Police Department works with the community to keep Woodinville safe. The City partners with the King County Sheriff’s Office for police services for the City. The team consists of the Police Chief, two sergeants, patrol officers, and a police clerk who handles administrative support for the department including passport and concealed pistol permit processing.

Public Works
The Public Works Department is the largest department in the city and is responsible for parks operations, construction and facilities management, stormwater management, road and street operations, and various special event demands.
