Grant Opportunities

The City of Woodinville offers multiple opportunities for residents, business members, and the community to engage and support the community through a variety of grant opportunities. Helping achieve greater access to services, events, and information, the City offers grant funding in several capacities.

Community Grants- CLOSED

This grant funding is available to organizations or to individuals who wish to provide programs or events fostering a sense of community or promoting economic development in Woodinville. Applications are reviewed and awarded annually by City Council. The application period for community grants typically opens in January and closes in February of each year.

Human Services Grants- CLOSED

This grant funding provides for agencies that offer critical services to the community such as food, shelter, and safety. This type of funding is awarded by City Council every two years, in conjunction with the City's budget process. Applications for the 2023-24 budget cycle are being solicited through August 15, 2022.

Tourism Promotion (Lodging Tax) Grants- OPEN! Grant Closes August 18

This grant funding is available for activities which promote tourism in the City of Woodinville. Lodging tax revenues are collected from each of the City's hotels and motels and a portion of those funds are then distributed through this grant to fund marketing efforts and special events that are designed to attract tourists. The application period for Tourism Promotion grants typically opens in June and closes in August. Applications are reviewed by a special committee, defined by State statute, who recommend awards to the City Council. This type of funding is awarded every year. Applications for 2024 funding are being solicited through August 18, 2023.
