Woodinville 2044 Comprehensive Plan Update
Woodinville is updating the 2015 Comprehensive Plan (Comp Plan) to reflect how the community envisions Woodinville to look by the year 2044. The Comp Plan is used as a guide to decide where housing and business growth should occur, what transportation system we will have to support the growth, what types of businesses and jobs we want to encourage, what types of housing we should have in the community, and how we can protect our natural environment over a 20-year period.

Spring/Summer 2023 Overlays: NE 175th St., 135th Ave. NE, & Wedge Neighborhood roads
Several Woodinville roadways will undergo construction to replace damaged and worn areas of pavement. While the end result of having freshly paved roads is something that many people can appreciate, the construction phase of a pavement overlay project can pose challenges for the community.

King County Northeast Recycling & Transfer Station
King County will construct a new Northeast Recycling and Transfer Station facility to replace the aging Houghton Recycling and Transfer Station.

Railroad Tie Removal Project
To transform the existing rail corridor into a usable trail, initial work has begun to remove rail, ties, and other track materials within the corridor. The section of rail corridor affected is approximately 2 miles long. Once the materials have been removed, the corridor will be rough graded in a condition acceptable for maintenance access.
