Spring/Summer 2023 Overlays: NE 175th St., 135th Ave. NE, & Wedge Neighborhood roads
Several Woodinville roadways will undergo construction to replace damaged and worn areas of pavement. While the end result of having freshly paved roads is something that many people can appreciate, the construction phase of a pavement overlay project can pose challenges for the community.

King County Northeast Recycling & Transfer Station
King County will construct a new Northeast Recycling and Transfer Station facility to replace the aging Houghton Recycling and Transfer Station.

This is a Capital Project to provide a raised pedestrian crossing connecting the future Eastrail at Northeast 145th Street.

This is a Capital Project to repair and improve the parking lot next to City Hall and the City Sports Fields.

This is a street overlay project to improve safety and drivability along Northeast 145th Street, 137th Place Northeast, and Northeast 143rd Street.

Proposed Ordinance 700
The Planning Commission forwarded a recommendation to the City Council proposing to loosen the current restrictions by allowing a newly defined “active uses” at the ground floor along designated streets and to allow residential at the ground floor along other designated streets as optional. In effect, the proposed change increases allowable ground floor uses in the Pedestrian Core Design District. Areas outside this Design District are not impacted.
