Greenbrier Trail Refurbishment

Project Description

The trail system located in the Greenbrier neighborhood requires refurbishment to make it a more usable and safer for users and to do this the City has partnered with the Washington Trails Association (WTA) to complete the work.  WTA is a non-profit organization that builds and maintains hundreds of thousands of miles of trails across the state and the organization utilizes a large volunteer work force to complete the majority of work.

The Greenbrier Trail refurbishment is being broken into two phases.  The first weekend of work on Phase 1 occurs on Friday, December 3 through Sunday, December 5. Work will continue for the following two weekends in December, pause for the holidays, and resume the weekend of January 7 for an additional three weekends.

City residents will have priority for signing up for work parties and we encourage anyone who is interested to learn more about the being a WTA volunteer here:https://www.wta.org/get-involved/volunteer

Sign ups are not currently open.  Check back for more information!
