Wood Trails Project Information
The City owns 53 acres of undeveloped land in located just east of the West Wellington neighborhood. This 53-acre property, known as Wood Trails, has not undergone any developments and has maintained in its original state since being purchased; However, in 2020, the Woodinville City Council allocated funds to begin the design process of creating a multi-use trail system. This project will preserve the existing trails created by nearby property owners to build out soft hiking trails and are planned to include amenities such as benches, wayfinding signs, and an information board.
In 2021, the City completed a Conceptual Study to help understand what is possible on the property. This study has served as the basis for future buildout of the project. The Study results can be found here: Wood Trails Concept Study.
