The 138th Avenue NE Grid Road project includes the construction of a new segment of roadway that will extend the existing Garden Way through the new Gardens District development and Woodin Creek Development to NE 171st Street. The project includes a bridge that will span across Woodin Creek and a roundabout intersection where the new 138th extension meets NE171st Street.
This project will be funded by developer contributions in addition to City funds. Design and permitting for both these projects are currently underway. Construction is expected to start in 2024. The estimated cost of both components is approximately $9.5 million.
