Greenbrier Trail Refurbishment

Project Description

The trail system located in the Greenbrier neighborhood required refurbishment to make it a more usable and safer for users. To do this the City partnered with the Washington Trails Association (WTA) to complete the work utilizing the non-profit organization's vast knowledge and unparalleled passion for trails. WTA builds and maintains hundreds of thousands of miles of trails across the state and the organization utilizes a large volunteer work force to complete the majority of work. In addition to maintenance and refurbishment, sections of the trail were decommissioned and re-routed to avoid sensitive wetlands and protect the native area. 

This project was completed in April 2023.
