The City of Woodinville is pleased to offer grant funding to eligible community not-for-profit organizations that meet critical human needs in the Woodinville community.
The upcoming City budget process (2023-2024) will allow the City Council to determine its budget priorities. As such, specific funding allotments for human services grants is not yet defined or guaranteed. Depending on demonstrated community need related to lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City will consider allocating additional one-time funding for COVID-19 relief programs and services.
During the last City budget cycle (2021-2022), the City committed $70,000 each year to eleven agencies serving the Woodinville community through the general human services program, and an additional $400,000 in emergency COVID-19 human services grant funding to another thirteen local nonprofit organizations.
The City will accept completed human services grant applications until Monday, August 15, 2022 at 5:00 pm. Grant applications will be evaluated according to program priorities, and a recommendation for funding will be passed on to the Woodinville City Council for consideration in the 2023-2024 budget which will be completed in December of 2022. Approved funding will become available on January 1, 2023 on a reimbursement basis.
