Grant Opportunities

The City of Woodinville offers multiple opportunities for residents, business members, and the community to engage and support the community through a variety of grant opportunities.  Helping achieve greater access to services, events, and information, the City offers grant funding in several capacities.

Community Grants

This grant funding is available to organizations or to individuals who wish to provide programs or events fostering a sense of community or promoting economic development in Woodinville.  Applications are reviewed and awarded annually by City Council. The application period for community grants is typically February of each year.

Human Services Grants

This grant funding provides for agencies that offer critical services to the community such as food, shelter, and safety.  Applications for 2021-22 grant funding are now closed. Applications are reviewed and awarded by the City Council, typically in the fall of even numbered years.  This type of funding is awarded every two years, in conjunction with the City's budget process.

Tourism Promotion (Lodging Tax) Grants

This grant funding is available for activities which promote tourism in the City of Woodinville.  Applications for 2022 grant funding are due August 16, 2021 by 12:00 PM. Lodging tax revenues are collected from each of the City's hotels and motels.  A portion of those funds are then distributed through this grant to fund marketing efforts and special events that are designed to attract tourists.  Applications are reviewed by a special committee, defined by State statute, who recommend awards to the City Council.  This type of funding is awarded every year.
