Engage Woodinville: New Virtual Citizen Engagement Platform
Posted on 06/16/2020
Woodinville residents now have an easy way to share feedback on City initiatives by visiting a new online interactive platform introduced by the City of Woodinville.

Engage Woodinville is a tool designed to share information about what’s going on in the City and collect information about the preferences and opinions of the community.

Topics to be featured include City planning and construction projects, private development projects, current affairs, environmental education, arts & culture events, and more. Data gathered from Engage Woodinville will be used by City staff and elected officials to make better-informed decisions.

“At a time when many of us are staying home because of COVID-19, Engage Woodinville leverages virtual technology to touch base with residents around topics that matter to them,” said Maia Knox, Management Analyst.  “Whether that’s learning about the latest coronavirus-related reopening guidelines, asking questions about upcoming road improvement projects, or participating in community forums to share inspiring stories and photos, Engage Woodinville gives residents a convenient way to connect with their city.”

Topics currently featured on the Engage Woodinville site include COVID-19 News, #WoodinvilleStrong Community Fun and Resources, the City’s response to the death of George Floyd, Sports Field Improvements, and Stormwater Management.

“This is just the beginning of Engage Woodinville,” said Kevin O’Neill, Assistant to the City Manager. “As we move forward, exciting new items will be added including development proposals, a master plan for accessibility, a strategy for housing, and much more.”
