In a move to promote economic recovery and put money back into the pockets of Woodinville residents, the City of Woodinville will reduce some permit fees by 50% or more for the remainder of the year. The new fees go into effect on September 1, 2020.
Permit fees impacted by the change include:
- Special Event Fees – Reduced by 50 percent;
- Building Permit Fees – Reduced by 50 percent for the first one million dollars in permit valuation;
- Mechanical and Plumbing Permit Fees – Fee waived;
- Permanent Sign Permit Fees – Fee waived;
- Temporary Sign Permit Fees – Fee waived;
- Tree Removal Permits – Fee waived.
The reduced fees will remain in effect until December 31, 2020 unless extended by Woodinville City Council.
