Records Requests

The City of Woodinville responds to requests for access to public records in accordance with the Public Records Act (PRA) RCW 42.56 and Woodinville City Council Ordinance 652 adopting Public Records Act Rules.

Document Center

Many public records are currently available on this website in the Document Center.  Examples include maps, interlocal agreements, standards and guidelines, comprehensive plan, critical areas and shoreline updates, budget, City Council and Commission meetings (current and past), ordinances, resolutions, press releases, and other reports.

fees for Public Records

There is no fee for inspecting public records.  Please see the public record charges for reproduction in our current Fee Schedule.  Payments are accepted in cash, check, or money order payable to the City of Woodinville.

Police department records

Requests for Police Department records should be submitted directly to the King County Sheriff's Office Online Records Requests.  To submit a public records request, you must create an account through the King County Sheriff's Office Online Request System.  Simply sign up once and then log in to monitor the request or to submit additional requests.

Washington State Archives

The Washington State Digital Archives is the nation's first archives dedicated specifically to the preservation of electronic records from both State and Local agencies that have permanent legal, fiscal or historical value.  They provide access to digitized records for their collections as well as recently transferred public records from participating state and local governments agencies.

To make a records request, complete and submit a Records Request form via email to Katie Hanke, City Clerk.
